Hello, I've recently switched my provider to BT and started experiencing packet loss and ping spikes that result in 'stuttering' while gaming, especially when playing FPS games.
My PC is fairly high end, connected to the hub with an ethernet cable.
I'm on the Superfast Fibre Unlimited package and get around 30mb download (which is slightly below the guaranteed speed but never mind that), the upload averages around 5-6mb.
Any noise on your line? 17070 option 2, best with corded phone.
Could you post the connection stats from the hub.

Here's a screenshot from Path of Exile, which has real-time in-game tracking of ping, fps and frame time.
These spikes happen almost all the time.
