Re: Packet loss / routing issue.

RightTiger I thin you get hit like the rest of us BT out.
For me it match the issue I had the other day at the start of this thread. i.e.
traceroute to 8.8.8.8, 30 hops max through WAN1 protocol ICMP
1 213.120.155.224 10 ms
2 Request timed out. *
3 Request timed out. *
Trace complete.

Re: Packet loss / routing issue.

As gg30340 has said get a openreach modem second hand or new from any online site, if I remember right you just tell the router to use PPPoE and the username bthomehub@btbroadband.com no password and jobs done. I did have one but don't remember if I sold it or it is some place in my IT junk with the HH5 and the 56k modem. It just needs to be a vdsl2

Re: Packet loss / routing issue.

This BT IP - 31.55.187.181 - address is still causing massive problems.

Screenshot from 2019-07-22 12-09-23.png

Even BT support is disorganized and broken.

* no problem tracking ID

* no technical support (just 1st line support)

* no ability for BT support to receive emails

Re: Packet loss / routing issue.

@kiat your tracert does not show massive problems. You lost 1 packet  out of 3410.
