Hi @Keith_Beddoe,

Thanks for that.  I had not looked that closely.

Re: Persistent disconnects

If you're going to buy anything a Billion all-in-one solution is the answer, simply because they are both g.inp and vectoring compatible, as well as gigabyte lan, and high performance wan. As well as high speed wireless.

Even the dreaded ECI cabs are seeing a roll-out fix for g.inp incompatibility, and such error correction at the physical layer is exactly what your connection needs.

Needless to say, to run it automatically it has to be green configuration, but as stated previously those issues can be over-ridden.

The only downside is they aren't cheap.

Hi @NeilO,  c.c. @RobbieMac & @PaddyB,

I forgot to ask, have you read @RogerB's post about getting specialist engineers to look for the fault ?

Reference our discussion of about an hour ago when you said you cannot see the number of disconnects that I can.

The records from the WAN log so far this year are below, EIGHT ON 2-1-19.

Hi @NeilO,  cc @RobbieMac & @PaddyB,

I have still not heard from you despite one of your team saying you would ring yesterday.

Hi @NeilO, cc @RogerB, @Keith_Beddoe, @imjolly

Thanks for ringing yesterday confirming that Openreach have claimed to have found no fault or fixed anything.

I have checked my stats and have had no disconnects for 11 days.  The most notable change is the increase in noise margin.

Re: Persistent disconnects

Hi @Keith_Beddoe, @imjolly, @RobbieMac, @PaddyB,

Just thought I would post an update.  My connection ran for 14 days before disconnection and is now past 4 days again.

As you can see from the stats below the noise margin remains high ever since Openreach/Wholesale said they found and did nothing ??

The other thing I notice is that my IP profile as a percentage of my downstream speed has dropped signifficantly from ~92.4% to ~88%.  What does this indicate please ?

stats looking best for ages and far more stable than before  I wonder if the 14 day drop in connection is what many people get myself included with connection immediately returning but still about same speed     (my 14 day disconnection has now stopped )

Hi @imjolly,

Thanks for the reply, how you doing.

I'm happy with the stability and have no problem if it disconnects every 14 day, or there abouts.

However, Openreach/Wholesale say they found no fault and made no changes.  So what has caused the jump in noise margin ?

You were the one that told be the meaning of the various percentages of downstream speed.  So what does ~88% mean please ?
