Is there any digging involved when getting FTTP?
My neighbour got Virgin installed a while back and they had to cut a small trench the whole way down his drive.
Just wondering how FTTP installation works, there doesn't seem to be any of the small details on BT's site.
Cheers

Depends on the infrastructure in your location. FTTP can be provided overhead via a pole or underground. It won't be your decision.
No problem. Thanks 🙂
There was no digging required when they installed mine, I'm told they shoot the fibre through the ducting using compressed air, however this didn't work for some reason when they installed my neighbours fibre and they had to dig and literally smashed the plastic ducting to pieces.
I assume they replaced the damaged part of the ducting before filling in the hole but I wasn't there to see it so I can't be sure.
