Problem fixed or not??

My connection seemed really poor last weekend so I did a speedtest via BT which reported a fault outside of my property.

It said the estimated fix date was Thursday but I'm not sure if the fault has been rectified or not yet as my router says the sync speed is 19.94Mbps but a speedtest reports my speed as about 10Mbps??

Re: Problem fixed or not??

Hello @freddie5 thank you for your message.

you can indeed run faults and do speed tests from the MyBT App, speeds ain’t guaranteed over Wi-Fi only via Ethernet.

to identify a fault it goes of the synced speed to the hub, this is what the contracted speeds goes off.

If you have an open fault you should be able to track it to see if it’s been resolved.

If your synced speeds meet your stay fast guarantee then your fault appears to be resolved.

If you believe the fault is still ongoing you can raise another fault if the current one is marked as resolved or if the fault is still ongoing with no updates on MyBT then you could always contact BT directly to update the fault for yourself.

But I would say if the speeds are now showing fine to the hub I would say the fault appears to be resolved.

Re: Problem fixed or not??

Hello @freddie5 thanks for the updated information.

This appears to of been resolved and awaiting clearance to close the fault.

Does the service to be working correctly or do you believe it’s ongoing?

you could try rebooting the hub to see if that corrects the router as well.
