Hi, my new fibre broadband got activated today morning but still its flashing purple/pink light on the modem. I have tried all the diagnostics available online but still no help. Landline has dialtone and is working fine, it's just the broadband which isn't working. Tried calling support but nobody is answering probably due to corona lockdown. I really need the internet especially due to work from home etc. Any help would be really appreciated.

if this is activation date then it can take up till midnight on day of activation for broadband to be connected just keep checking hub lights
Flashing purple means no internet connection, are you sure all cables are correctly connected? if so have you been given an activation date

Its the second day now and it's still flashing the purple light. All the cables are inserted fine.

Which BT Home Hub are you using?
What does your master phone socket look like?
Have you plugged the home hub directly into the top socket?
