I appear to have the same problem with my HH5 suddenly and without warning for the past few evenings showing flashing lights before settling down to the usual steady blue.
Tried a reset this morning and as I was waiting the flashing green to change to blue for at least ten minutes, I contacted support in Dehli. Waited at least a further 15 mins but when I got through, they were very pleasant and willing to help with line tests etc.
They reckon the hub is at fauklt and they were just about to send me a replacement and then all of a sudden thet found out my contract had expired. Two choices, one I renew it and second, I purchase the replacement, forty something pounds plus shipping. Told them I dont want a contract with them, 'happy' for thirty five years with BT, ie a loyal customer, and the 'deal' I am on is just right for me, free anytime landline calls one of them.
I told call centre that I was unhappy with being coerced into a contract that only suits BT and they put me through to the cancellation team in Newcastle. Same story, no contracat no HomeHub and if I wanted to purchase one they quoted a price that was more then the one Dehli quoted.
BT, you frustrate me so I will get a friend who knows about these things to read the posts here in the forum and try and fix for me.
once you fixed term contract expires then the hub is yours and if then develops a fault it is up to you to fix it or replace it. when you renew your contract BT will replace it for free during the term of your contract
if you have not renewed your contract then you are now on standard terms as any discount will have ceased and probably paying more than necessary for you package. however that does give you the ability to move ISP at 30 days or less notice.
have you tried a factory reset of your hub by using the rescessed button on back and holding until lights flash?
can you post stats from your hub by going to hub manager then troubleshooting and post the stats
my HH5a has been updated and it is not causing any reset problems
once in hub manager then go to troubleshooting then helpdesk and post the stats
can you post the router stats from troubleshooting then helpdesk please
