I have moved your post to start a new thread as it is just muddying the waters of the original thread.

Can we have some hub stats from you to see if we can spot what is going on.

HH6 Advanced settings/technical log.

HH5 Troubleshooting/helpdesk.

Are your speeds via wired or wireless connection?

Re: BT Super Fast Fibre Plus not reaching the average speed

The plot thickens...................................................

BT Wholesale Speed Test now reads 43.62.

Interesting that their Diagnostics software on my line states that 43 is pretty good as max. achievable speed on  my line is 47.43 !.................................

Very interesting conversation coming up with BT with regard to misselling, misrepresentation, overcharging, misleading the public and dare I say the word Fraud? with regard to my recently expired contract.....................

I feel used and foolish if all this transpires to be true and I shall certainly not go quietly.

A very unhappy Bennachie

As can be seen from your screenshot, your current sync speed is 49M with a possibility of attaining 60M. Your speed has probably been reduced by DLM due to previous line instability. Given time your speed should increase. What speed wre you guaranteed in your contract email?

Re: BT Super Fast Fibre Plus not reaching the average speed

After more phone calls this am I am assured that my line is capable of 80mb/s and that there is a fault - its just that they don't know what it is..........................they are looking into it and the case has been escalated and I now have a dedicated case manager who will contact me within 24 hours......................Hmmmm

Speed resolutely stuck at 43.5 mb/s and max line speed says 49 mb/s.  BT faults assure me that the line speed reading is erroneous because of the fault and that I shoud be getting a minimum of 57mb/s (which is a long way short of the 80 it was suggested I get and causes some maths headaches with an average of 67...............which suggests 80 quite often.

IF the line only suppots 47, why have they sold me superfast infinity 1 at 50mb/s minimum for the last 18 months and just sold me Superfast Plus with 67 average less than a month ago?

I suggested that this should be investigated and that I should get what I pay for, nothing less, and if that cannot be delivered then there should be a commensurate reduction in tarrif............................ reply we'll look into the fault and get back to you............
