Re: Broadband FTTC/P Availability

Well I want to know how to get 330/30 FTTP. I can afford install and the monthly cost ( up to £500 a month) but I can't get anyone to tell me how to order it. I am on Newport Savoy exchange which the checker says is enabled for it. I am 240M away from the exchange

Please enter your phone number at http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome and after deleting your telephone number, post the results.

Re: Broadband FTTC/P Availability

What is available is Fibre to the Premises on Demand (FTTP on D) this is a different product from Fibre to the Premises (FTTP). As far as I am aware no ISP is offering FTTP on D even although it is available at some exchanges.

Re: Broadband FTTC/P Availability

petecov44,

There are a few ISPs who are offering FTTPoD (Fibre to the Premisies on Demand), try calling the BT Retail's FTTP department on 0800 587 4787 and see if they will offer you FTTPoD (probably needs a site survey to get estimated install costs)

Here's Openreach's estimated price list to ISPs. http://www.openreach.co.uk/orpg/home/products/pricing/loadProductPriceDetails.do?data=0WyIM7tTGGgucF...

Re: Broadband FTTC/P Availability

shirts,

Yes these are the approx. charges Openreach bill to to the ISP/CP. The end users cost may be slightly higher as the ISP/CP may add charges, for example product/services charges.
