I am in a similar position but the high speed fibre only drops out after 18.00 hours when everone gets home from work!! I find that trying to report the problem using the website just takes you round in circles. Live chat was worse than useless he dropped my account details including my password which takes ages to reset and you cant use a password used before. Then a phone call just resulted in seperating the hub speeds. Problem solved? NO WAY its still dropping out about 4 times a night. ONLY happens after 18.00 hrs, I am retired so the laptop is never more than 5 feet from the hub (type 6). Very frustated trying to get it sorted.

Can you post stats from hub. If hh6 then advanced settings then technical log information. If hh5 then troubleshooting then helpdesk 

do you still get the problem of dropping connection if you connect with Ethernet cable?

have you split the 2.4/5ghz network ? Have you tried changing wireless channels rather than auto? Have you tried changing wireless mode from 1 to either 2 or 3?
