Re: Configuration of third-party router

Hi I have a tp-Link n600 w9980 and a bthub5 and I am trying to use my tp link with the wan connection from my but hub and I can't seem to get it to work at all, I have tried using the different @btbtoadband emails and passwords, using PPPoE settings vci, vpi and DSL modulation types from adsl to vdsl and can't seem to get anything going, any help?

Re: Configuration of third-party router

You don't need the hub, the TP Link connects to your ADSL/VDSL socket. Factory reset the TP Link, connect the dsl socket to your phone socket and run through the quick setup. The only slections you need to make are xDSL modem Router Mode, BT VDSL, username homehub@btbroadband.com and password BT.
