I think the only solution is going to be an engineer visit, as its still disconnecting at the test socket.

 

As you have done the basic checks.

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.

Thanks for your posts and welcome back!

 

Sorry for the problems you're having with your broadband.  There is such a massive variation in your speeds when the connection drops.  As the service is still dropping in the test socket it looks like a potential network fault.

Sorry to drag this up again, but I wonder if this is weather related?

 

Connection was fine all afternoon, when it was calm and dry but as soon as the rain came and the wind got up a bit, it kept dropping. My phone line is also now really crackly.

I ended up phoning BT and they're sending an engineer out after seeing problems on the line. Should be fixed by the 29th, fingers crossed.
