Hi, I've been a BT customer for around 6 weeks and have a minimum guaranteed speed of 45Mb. Everything was fine until last Thursday. The Home Hub was unplugged all day while we had carpets fitted in the house and since plugging it in we have had abysmally slow speeds.
After doing some Googling it seems I may have been put in to a banded profile so I've been leaving the home hub alone to see if things improve. The DSL uptime keeps resetting (around once a day) and comes back with a different speed (9Mb the other day, 15Mb yesterday and down to 12Mb today) and has been as low as 5Mb.
I'm hoping some of the mods could look into my situation and see if there's anything that could be done on their end or if they have any advice for me. I have posted all the relevant info, the only thing I can't do is a quiet line test due to having no landline.

you need to invest £5 and buy a cheap corded phone to check to see if you have a dial tone on landline and if you do is there line noise check for noise dial 17070 option 2 should be silent
the very low speed compared to dslchecker results suggest a line problem and likely no dial tone
please post any further stats here rather than links as saves jumping between screens
