Good afternoon everyone,
It looks like this is the place to get some good advice, so I'm hoping you might be able to help.
I've had BT Infinity 2 for 2-3 years now and rarely had an issue. Download speeds have generally been between 30-50Mbps and upload around 20Mbps. Recently however, my speeds have dropped significantly. I've included below some screenshots of the tests you folks normally ask for. On a side note, it looks like I've actually never achieved the speeds I should be receiving. In the first instance though, I'd like to get back to where I was before at least.
From what I can see, my IP profile has been capped at 24Mbps, which is very low compared to the speed I should be achieving. The only other point I would make is that 2-3 weeks ago, we had a series of powercuts that meant the router restarted several times in a couple of hours span. Could that be the reason for the cap? Let me know if I can give more info, I'm keen to get this resolved and get the speeds that I'm paying hefty monthly fees for! Thanks in advance.
All the best,
Tom

You need to keep the connection stable such that DLM recovers the speed. The post of your stats shows the connection has only been up for 1 day. If you're still having power issues or you'redisconnecting to the line for some other reason, this is not going to help.
Regards
Ok no problem, I'm glad there's a fairly straightforward reason for this and that its in keeping with what I thought. I'll do my best to keep the line stable and hopefully I'll see my old stats return.
Any thoughts on how long I can expect this to last?
Now the bad news. It could be days, it could be weeks or it could be months. DLM is a complete dogs breakfast.
Fortunately, it was days! I'm back up to pre-power cut speeds, and actually a little higher.
Thank you for your help all, case closed!
