Replacing HomeHub 3

I wanted to replace the HH3 as the menus don't allow me to make fine adjustments to the DHCP table, and the wireless speed is only 130Mbps.

I bought a ASUS RT-NT11.

Connected it as the instructions suggested from reading other posts.

It said the internet was connected, through the modem (BT Infinity), gave me the correct BT IP addresses on the WAN side.

However, every computer in the house, could see each other on the LAN, but not the internet.

A ping to 8.8.8.8 failed.

So what setting did I miss? I set it to PPPoE and set the password and login credentials, and all reported all ok. But just no internet on the LAN side?

Thanks.

Re: Replacing HomeHub 3

It suggests it's connected and the WAN is active and operational. But it's just not being routed to the LAN.

Sorry, I can't help you without something to go on like a screenshot.

Re: Replacing HomeHub 3

Unfortunately I had to disconnect it, to get back on the internet, but wondered if off hand someone knew of a setting I forgot to change!

Basically set it up as a gateway, all the WAN ips were correct, logged onto BT infinity, all looked good. Just nothing being passed to the LAN.

Any other choices rather than gateway?
