Not sure why I’m on the bottom line of range a i was getting 60meg plus over a year ago, just done line test there is a light cracking sort of noise
Then that is what is causing you broadband to run slower.
Before you report this noise, you need to make sure that its nothing at your end causing the problem.
Which number matches your master phone socket?
Do you have any other extension wiring or phone sockets?

I have other phone sockets but they not in use
Can you remove the bottom part of that master socket, and connect things up as shown on this picture. It shows a slightly different socket, but the idea is the same.
At the same time, can you check that the wiring to those other sockets, is connected to the back of that bottom section, as shown here Extension wiring terminals
Under these conditions, all the extension sockets should be totally dead, when that bottom section is removed.
See if the home hub connection speed is faster when you are plugged into that test socket.

Tried that the speed test is exactly the same
What about the extension wiring, is it connected to the removable bottom section as shown on my picture?
Was the cracking noise still there with the phone plugged into the microfilter that was plugged into the test socket?
If you are now connected to the test socket can you post router stats to see if any changes
That woul be the same link you used to get the image on this post.
