Router needs daily restart

No particulary problem with the connection when it's working fine. However, it seems that after a certain amount of time the connection drops to approx. 3-4mbps with internet browsing becoming an issue shared between 5 people.

 

Here is a variety of speed tests on the same connection showing before and afters of the router being restarted:

Anybody else have this problem / know how to resolve it? Is a new router required from BT?

Welcome and thanks for posting!

 

Sorry for the problems you're having with your broadband speed.  Do you notice the speed slow down when using a wired or wireless connection?  If wireless, check out this link "How do I change the wireless channel on my BT Home Hub?"
