Routing problems / Cardiff

Since Friday I've had problems reaching certain sites and general slowness. It appears to be random. Sometimes I cant login to my bank, load facebook, or play WoW without problems such as transfer aborted (instance not found). Underlying all this is a routing problem, that is hard to pinpoint, but the latency in hop 2 and 3 shouldn't be 100-200ms. also getting 2-10% packetloss from the ukcore network, 21cn-ipp.bt.net 109.159.*.*

So is anyone else seeing this?

Re: Routing problems / Cardiff

I've been having the same problem, and every time I restart my HomeHub, I gain and lose access to a different set of sites, it's like a lottery trying to get all the sites I usually use to work,

Kind of glad to hear it's not just me, hopefully someone can sort things out.

Re: Routing problems / Cardiff

Try changing your DNS servers to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Re: Routing problems / Cardiff

You have to do it on your PC as the Homehub doesn't let you change the setting
There're instructions here for OpenDNS but you can substitute the Google DNS servers as mentioned before http://use.opendns.com/
