Service Outage since 30th October now says need 14 days to fix in HP13

My BT braod Band is down since 30th sun morning,now they saying it need another 14 days to fix in HP13 area ,can any one tell me wha tis happening ,why they need 14 days to fix BT broadband service outage ?Kindly help
