I have tired the BT online chat and they are sending me a new HH6, but i doubt that will solve the problem.  They were going to send an engineer out but that was cancelled (without notice to me) as they had fixed the fault remotely.  I can see no difference.  Could someone with a little more knowledge look at the stats above and advise me if there may be a line issue the hub is connected directly to the master socket via a filter with a telephone no extensions.

Many thanks

Re: Slow Connection

first glance suggests a banded profile probably due to hub dropping internet connection often or manual reset trying to restore speed or a combination of both  your connection time is only 2 days was that manual reset?

Re: Slow Connection

Thanks for the response.  Yes 2 days ago i restarted the hub as requested by the online chat.  What is a banded profile ?  Having read a little i thought that the profile was set by your connection speed ?

Re: Slow Connection

Thanks for the link which i have read.  So i could be stuck on this band due to either a noisy line (no noise on the quiet line test) or excessive error or the hub rebooting.  I seem to have been stuck on this band since June, before which i had 65Mb connection for months.  Before the reset 2 days ago the hub had been on for 15 days at least.  What can i do ?

Hi @Eifion,

Welcome back to the Community.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with your connection.

Can you confirm that you are plugged into the master socket and also complete the Home Checks and let me know how you get on?
