I've had Ultrafast for a week now and initially it was fast. Now I'm getting a pathetic 26mb when Infinity gave me regularly gave me 35-50 and in the good old days of HomeHub3, I was even getting up to 70. BT's speedtest results claim that the new hub itself is getting 127mb but even plugging the laptop into it with an ethernet cable, the device is only getting 26! What is going on? Have I got a faulty ultrafast hub or is Plus a giant rip-off? Should I get a different branded hub?

There doesn't seem to be any problem looking at the stats. Which speed test is only giving you 26Mb?
Well it was until a few minutes ago. It's now giving me 44.5.

I still don't understand why it should be this slow. I'm 2m away from the hub with no walls and doors between. If I'm paying top tariff, I should expect better.
You are connecting at 155M, I assume you are testing with wireless rather than a wired connection. Try the speedtest with a wired connection to verify if the problem is with congestion or wireless.
