Re: BT Infinity 2 unlimited very slow at peak times

Still undecided if its acceptable or not. Some of the more 'senior' members of the forum, judging from their replies on the subject, think it is as they mostly brush it off as a non-issue however I wonder if they would retain the almost cavalier attitude if the shortgages pertained to the aforementioned utilities... or if their bank decided unilaterally to shrink their available balance by 90% between the hours of 7PM and 1AM due to inferred cashflow issues but with no acknowledgement of the fact or explanation given.

Nobody suggests it is a non-issue. However, congestion is almost always a short-lived problem that is resolved by extra capacity being provided by BTWholesale. Depending on what is required to increase the capacity, it can sometimes take longer than is deemed acceptable. You can't add a new lane to the M25 overnight in order to reduce traffic congestion.

I concur, you cannot deliver a major civil engineering project overnight however you can acknowledge (following with your simile) that there is a congestion issue on that route, warn the drivers that they may experience delays if they choose it to travel [through that router] and perhaps as a gesture of good will keep the drivers informed about any palliative measures either prospective or already in place.

Requesting a check on the driver's vehicle and it's roadworthiness while refusing to acknowledge that a traffic issue may exist and if the subject is pressed further putting it down to a potential lack of communication between the Highways Agency and the NTCC thus leaving it to the customer to light votives in the hope that someone somewhere is doing something about it, 'it' not having been defined in scope or magnitude or indeed acknowledged by anyone involved is dangerously close to the boundaries of condescending county.

If the product you have been sold is not delivered by the company, it is breach of contract! See you in court BT!
