Ok thanks, if it doesn’t correct itself by then, then hopefully i fit into those certain circumstances and it can be reset. I’ll get back to you with the status in the next few days

UPDATE: It’s been almost 10 days now with no downtimes, but speed is still the same. How long till DLM takes me off the low speed band?

Re: Slow sync speeds BT Infinity 1

It could easily take weeks for DLM to take any action

Re: Slow sync speeds BT Infinity 1

Well sh** then. Was hoping speed was increase so I could download my game updates faster for my pc and PS4. You said it could be reset under certain circumstances from tomorrow? Do you know what these circumstances are?

Re: Slow sync speeds BT Infinity 1

Hello again, it’s been about a month. I have left my router plugged in and turned on for the whole time. In the past week the router restarted by itself once and went through a resyncing phase about 3 times. Went from 39.99 downsync to 43.99 then to 44. The noise also went down to around 5-7. Yesterday however it went down to 40mbps and the noise has risen. I have not restarted the hub or done anything to it. How long should I wait for it to go to the speed I am paying for? I am also guaranteed 42mbps. If you could please get a mod involved it would be really helpful. Thank you.

Re: Slow sync speeds BT Infinity 1

you are obviously still getting connection problems  if speed went up to 44mb then as that is next band up maybe the banding was starting to release but more resets have just knocked you back to where you were in the 40mb band

the forum mods still cannot request a DLM reset and no sign of when that is likely to start either - just wish it would be soon as would help lots of people
