I have recently upgraded to g.fast broadband and got a smart hub 2. Apart from dropping its internet connection once after just 6 hours all has been well.
However, just as a matter of interest I thought I would run the speed test. When I did, I got this message
"We can't see your Hub online so we're not able to run a speedtest for you at the moment."
Does anybody know what might cause this message and whether there is anything I need to do about it.
I would just add that the hub is connected to my computer by cable and I know from other testers that I am getting more or less the speed I expected, so more a matter of interest than a serious problem.

Seems to be a common problem, I have the same issue. You might find that the iOS “My BT” app can run the speed test okay, like this:
