Smarthub 2 in solid orange and no one in BT is picking up the call

I plugged into the exactly same port as the previous tenant, tried to reset the Smarthub and the openreach modem, but it's still solid orange showing on the Smarthub. What can I do about it?

Do you have a broadband package from BT.  Do you have a dial tone on your phone

and the "openreach" modem seems to be built in in the building, but doesn't looks like this one

Did the previous tenant cancel the service?

Unless your landlord provides free broadband you will need a broadband package from an ISP unless you have one. How did you get a hub.  Were/are you a BT broadband customer?
