Re: Sorry Mods 5th Time in a Year

Do you keep rebooting the HomeHub because your connection times are always very short?

If you are then that could well be why the DLM has increased your noise margins as it sees the line as being unstable and areduces the speeds to gain stability.

Re: Sorry Mods 5th Time in a Year

Go to solution

Nope

It just recycles for no reason

The Landline has been check

The Broadband says no fault

and no line noise

I have not had any power cuts

Appears to have got worse since new firmware was downloaded

Re: Sorry Mods 5th Time in a Year

Go to solution

If you haven't already done it after the firmware update try a factory reset of the Homehub by pressing a pin into the recess button on the rear for about 20 seconds.

Re: Sorry Mods 5th Time in a Year

The factory reset was not to decrease the noise margin as such, it was to see if it helped to stop the hub's resets which in turn may help the stability and then you may see the speeds increase and noise margin drop.

ip profile was at 77.35 now down to 62 mb why

The router shows that can do upto 91 to 95 mb so why is the line not staying stable db level of 12.2 does not help
