I think you'll find there's quite a few users that would argue with that. Anecdotally problems with them are very rare.

However most of them are now 5+years old so will likely start becoming towards the end of their expected life and components *may* start failing.

Ok so I’ve isolated the source of the problem.

Each time the motorised valve for hot water closes it trips the Infinity connection.

Any solutions for reducing SHINE at a motorised valve? Encase the valve to prevent the signal emitting? The hub is only about 4 metres (and one wall) from the motorised valve.

Move the hub?

Fault found, fixed and broadband connection steady.

 

It was the hot water cylinder thermostat which would briefly arc as the desired temperature was reached.  The interference this was causing would knock out the broadband and affect the radio signal too.
