Re: Speed and address anomaly - database error?

Doesn't seem worth it in that case - I am assuming it would be the same for the flats as they are on the same DP and same distance to the cabinet?

With respect to the address/database issue, are there any mods on here that can help?

Re: Speed and address anomaly - database error?

While you’re waiting for a mod, best bet would be to fill out this formwize https://www.formwize.com/run/survey3.cfm?idx=505d040e0b080d to query this directly with the fibre availability enquiries team at Openreach.

Re: Speed and address anomaly - database error?

Hi @NewNewbie

Your best bet would be to use the link that @Saruman has posted above.  This will go directly to Openreach who will be able to confirm fibre status at each address.

Cheers,

Robbie

Re: Speed and address anomaly - database error?

I filled in the form above and have just got the following, so, fingers crossed that I am on the right path:

Thanks for contacting us.

I've had a look at this for you and it looks like your query will need some further investigation by our specialist team to resolve.

What I'm going to do is forward your query on to them directly, which they will then pick up and deal with, contacting you directly once they have the relevant details.

Sorry I wasn't able to deal with your issue today, but our specialist team will be in touch as soon as possible.

Best wishes

Re: Speed and address anomaly - database error?

Doesn't appear I am getting anywhere with this.

On the 3rd of October I got the following e-mail which shows my original query wasn't even read. I wrote back the same day but haven't heard anything back.

What else can I now do?

Good Morning Mr X,

Thanks for getting in touch regarding fibre availability for your address.

Cabinet 10, which serves your area, is currently out of capacity due to high demand. We've contacted our fibre capacity team who will advise when the cab capacity will be increased. As soon as we hear back from them we'll update you accordingly.

Kind regards

Neil Colk

Re: Speed and address anomaly - database error?

you just need to wait on openreach getting back to you - or you could keep hassling openreach

there is no timescale for cab capacity increases
