Re: Speed drop again

Certainly looks like a line connection problem with connection dropping from one banded profile to another as problem gets worse

Re: Speed drop again

Normally noise margin about 6db or lower if G.INP active

your noise margin is high as your connection is seen as unstable and DLM has increased your noise margin and reduced your speed and in fact put you in banded profiles. You have been dropping in banded profiles suggesting a line problem which needs engineer visit

Re: Speed drop again

I've had bt engineer out before about it last time was 6th june he said was loop fault and changed faceplate. Again before that bt engineer said was hr fault.

End June 2020 was 43999 and I had engineer out beginning June that said was loop fault, faceplate change and couldn't do lift n shift and dlm reset.

June 43999

August 43998

September 39999

November 35

What my next course of action another BT complaint.

Thanks guys

Re: Speed drop again

ther is no point in a DLM reset as you have an unstable conenction as can be seen with your reducing connection speed dropping from one banded profile to another.  You need to get a stable connection first and that means another engineer visit

Re: Speed drop again

There is no set time for a hub reset especially if there is a problem with line noise
