Speed drop from 68 to 42 mbps

Hi

It is possible to by downgrade from 68mpbps to 42 mbps?

I have test result from a year ago and was 68mbps and last week only 42!

Hi goral,

 

please can you run a BT speed test (including IP Profile) The link is: http://speedtest.btwholesale.com (not beta version)[Best done with a wired, Ethernet, connection] After Quick Test is done you need to click "Further Diagnostics" to get IP Profile.

 

Then post the results here please. It should look something like this:

2) what does it say in the grid for WBC FTTC when you go to http://dslchecker.bt.com/adsl for your landline number.

I know it looks like I have maximum but, year ago was 68 so what happen?

That looks like you have been using the dsl checker not a speed tester. This is only an estimate of what your line may get. It is not what your line will get. BT have revised their estimates so it may have been higher last year.
