Speed gradually going down and router keeps rebooting more than usual

So over the last few months my speeds have gradually been dropping slowly. I started off years ago around the 70Mbps+ range, then dropped to the 60s, upper 50s and now I'm heading to the lower 50s, currently at 54Mbps.

It's getting to the point that it's not worth me paying for Infinity 2 when I'm only now getting a couple of Mbps's over Infinity 1.

But before I start changing packages I'm wondering what the suggested procedure is for checking I haven't got a fault somewhere going on?

I recently got this firmware on the 19th SG4B1000E01E that seems to have made the reboots more frequent. I rarely go 5 days without a reboot these days. I noticed that the maxiumum data rate is at 65Mbps.

So I'm not sure if this is a continuing worsening fault or its due to interference or congestion.

Is the quiet line test the first thing I should try? Or something else?

A high error rate will cause both those symptoms, so checking for line noise, would be the first thing to do.
