Speed increase

I was told by email last year that my speed would be going up as a loyal customer, even when I renegotiated my contract they said I would still get this offer. 2 months on and other family have had their boost but not me. I used to get over 50mb on the line now struggle to get 40mb could anyone help or advise as I have seen people saying they have had profile change requests to increase speed. Any help much appreciated

Thanks for the help so far. Like I said I used to get 50mb when I first got hh6 but then has decreased. I’m hoping that I can get a boost somehow.

At present you connection speed is about attainable with noise margin about normal 6db leaving no scope for faster speed

connection time is less than 2 days was that router dropping connection or manual reset?

are you using the test socket with a filter to see if that improves speed by eliminating your internal wiring

try quiet line test. Dial 17070 option 2. Should be quiet and best with corded phone

Brand new line last year from master socket all the way up to the pole outside, the last couple of days the router has dropped out around 10oclock with orange light and then restarting fine.there is no internal wiring as such from master socket goes straight out of the house wall and up to the pole as I said all that wiring was new last year and when I was getting my 50mb. Only have a cordless phone but will try a quiet line test now

No noise on quiet line test so not sure what that means. Hope that helps. Is there any change my account profile is banded somehow ??
