i pay £35 a month for a 50Mbps connection on a new build that has fibre in the house and out to the exchange. im often seeing as low as 11Mbps down and 8Mbps up. (single occupant on 1 device at a time).
took 3 days to get the net sorted for the house and even then... the customer service was shocking... im still waiting for a call back to upgrade to the origninall package i wanted. (ill be waiting a long time and by the time they do ill be moving over to virgin when they get in the area).
check line for noise. Dial 17070 option 2 should be quiet and best done with corded phone
are you using test socket with with a filter to see if that improves your connection
