I have recently changed over from Sky to BT Superfast with complete wifi on the proviso that BT said i could get minimum of 32 d/l - at the moment i can only get 19 d/l - engineer has been out today and stated that what i have is the best i am going to get and that i should never have been guaranteed the higher speeds as too far away from the exchange - very disappointed is not the word
Hmm, engineer's view seems to be at odds with the checker.
Nothing to do with distance from the exchange in any case, it is the distance from the cabinet that determines speed.
Can you post the stats from your hub when connected to the test socket please.
Engineer speak with forked tongue!!
@redspelly very occasionally the estimates can be wrong and in that instance you do have the option to cancel the contract without penalty if you're getting below the minimum guaranteed speed.

These are the hub settings
Can you post the screen at Advanced settings > technical log please? That will show further information.
Hmm, there doesn't look to be much room for improvement there unfortunately. I suspect your line may be aluminium rather than copper. If you haven't already done so, I suggest you take up @NeilO 's offer.
