Re: TD-W9970 "losing" bandwidth

No, I very much doubt if your TP Link is malfunctioning per se.

Re: TD-W9970 "losing" bandwidth

Hi @minch,

I've just noticed that your upstream line attenuation is very high, this normally points to a HR fault somewhere down the line (it should normally be around twice the downstream, but it's a lot higher). Is your phone line working ok? If it is, is it noisy?

Re: TD-W9970 "losing" bandwidth

Phone is working, it is intermittently noisy (quiet line test sometimes quiet, sometimes crackly). The line is rural and goes across common land where it is pulled down in several sections by fallen branches. Have told BT about this and given grid ref of location but it has been like this for over a year.

Screenshot 2019-07-07 at 19.41.07.jpgNow how do I claim my £20 per day that I'm below 12Mbps?
