To far away for fibre

My cabinet is around 1-2 miles away and I’m unable to get fibre internet, what are my options because 4mb isn’t good enough for 2 people to use at the same time

As your cab is fibre enabled and nothing showing on dslchecker you can only wait and hope openreach erect a new cab closer to you but as there does not appear to be a lot of people that may be a while if at all

isnt there a way of getting better speeds though? not even copper wiring to the house? 4mb is awful yet we paid for 8mb

as you can see from checker the estimate for your line is 4.5/6.5mb connection speed

have you tried using the test socket with a filter as that often helps improve conenction speed by eliminating your onternal wiring and the faceplate

Tried that and maximum is 4.5mb which is awful considering everywhere has fibre and I’m in the 2% of Shropshire that doesn’t
