Two phone lines

Hello all

Just wondering if any can help me please? 

I have a seperat phone line number and there is only one line coming to the hose from the BT poll there a Black box where the line separt to anther line in the house thiusis is anther number total.

Will this effect the fiber to my like at all please?

as the lines are on separate pairs of wires although in same dropwire it should not affect your fibre connection

When you say Fibre are you getting FTTC or FTTP?

If it’s FTTP and it’s CBT Fibre then you’ll need to have two Drop Cables to your house. CBT Fibre has a Copper Pair in it but only one.

Make sure you tell the Installation Engineer you have two Copper Lines wo he knows not to cut and draw the new O/H FTTP Cable.

The sort arnser is i dont know what i am getting! All i can say is it over the normal phone lines to the house!

What the puzzinfg bit is my nabour is on the fibre and get 8 time more than me?? He on 9+MB I mabe just getting over 1MB!

Sounds like youare still on ADSL rather than VDSL. What does your BT account say?

I think so too! It say fibre on the bill!
