Upgrading from FTTC to FTTP

Openreach indicates that FTTP will be coming to my area soon. I want to move from Plusnet to BT now as my Plusnet contract is at an end.

If I join with the Fibre 1 package, am I able to upgrade this to Full Fibre 900 when FTTP is available?

Shouldn't be a problem, but BT will probably want to recontact when you take the FTTP update (i.e if you have 3 months with BT before ordering  FTTP the contract will be renewed, and a new 18/24 (or whatever) month contract will be started.

Unless you are planning to move and not use BT at your new address I can't see a problem
