Hello,
I have few questions before upgrading my current broadband package (Superfast Fibre 2 Unlimited) to Ultrafast Fibre Plus for only few extra pounds. I have been with BT for many years and I am currently using my own router (ASUS RT-AC86U) connected by an Openreach modem (Huawei HG612). I am getting decent speeds of around 74mbps download and 14mbps upload and latency is around 9ms.
Hope you can answer my questions, feel free to ask me if you need some clarifications 🙂
Thanks!
Assuming Ultrafast is being delivered by G.Fast and not FTTP then to use your Asus you would need a G.Fast modem.

If it were to be delivered by FTTP, then a fibre cable and ONT would need to be installed which you could still connect your ASUS to.
