We have put together a short survey to capture your feedback in terms of what BT can do when you experience home Wi-Fi issues. We would appreciate it if you could take a couple of minutes to complete a short survey. Read more from here, Fix my home Wi-Fi
I recently had a fault fixed around 10 days ago. Download speed is close to what is was originally, but my upload connection speed is now at 6.92Mbps, where as previously it was around 9.8Mbps.
I spoke to chat support and asked if they could reset my line as I thought my upload SNR had been set too conservatively. The guy I spoke to said he had done this while speaking to him online. This clearly didn't happen. I did restart my hub by the way 🙂
What is the best way to deal with this?
Keep well everyone
They cannot reset SNR remotely on VDSL connections. They would not organise one either as upload is not supported.
They may look OK, but that extra 3Mbps made a huge difference. I work in videography and that upload speed is precious!
