Using a TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 with my smart hub 2

My modem has arrived and is all setup. I have the PPPoe credentials entered and i have a connection. However it's running at one tenth of the speed of the BT hub... I've tried resetting the modem, any idea what in this setup may be causing this or any troubleshooting i should be doing

I recall someone posting that incorrect MTU settings can cause packet fragmentation and reduce throughput. Don't know if this would apply in your set-up or whether it's automatically negotiated.
