Very slow speeds infinty1

Well we've been here a year and BT still hasnt fixed our connection.

Moved in and Ordered line+ infinity 1 from the site which stated we would have a 54Mb connection with a gareented speed of 36Mb for the first 2 months we got around 27 i can live with that. Then we started to get disconnects every hour or so and speed dropped down to 21 ish. 3 enginers out every one claiming something diffrent oone just fiddled with a screw and made £15 of personal calls on our line. last one stated there was a damage to the line and a team would be sent out to fix ok. so now the disconects are better one or two aday but the speed has steadly dropped we are now at the same speed as if we didnt even have infinity and at times less we have 12 d and 3 u. we are only 500 meters from the green box and 1.5 miles from the exchange. and as i said at the start for 2 months we had 27Mb.

BT dont seem to care and if i have to spend 2+ hours speeking to a overseas call center that cant understand me or me them ill go mad please help

Re: Very slow speeds infinty1

if you have a Homehub 5 can you also post the stats from 1-12 by logging onto the homehub management pages then troubleshooting > helpdesk. http://bthomehub.home/

The stats for the Home Hub 6 can be found on the Information page from http://192.168.1.254 then Advanced Settings -> Technical Log.

Can you run this checker and post back a screen shot of the results. Make sure you delete your phone number before posting.

Can you use this speed tester then carry out the further diagnostics and post back a screen shot of all the results including your IP profile for up and down. This test must be done with a wired connection.

Engineers do not make chargeable calls on customers lines they have their own no charge numbers when doing tests it sounds more like you may have had a crossed line
