Week to fix a fault

BB has gone down in my whole area. BT. Vodaphone. Talk Talk the lot. Estimated fix 19th. 23.00. This takes with it landline. Bright idea, Digital Voice. What is going on? Anyone?

I guess Openreach's magic wand has broken and they are having to mend the fault the hard way.

Depends on the nature of the fault.  If they have to dig a road up, they need to apply for permission first and that takes time.  If you look on here it might give you a bit more idea of what is going on:
