When will Aylesbury Cab 98 be available for Infinity?

Go to solution

When will Aylesbury Cabinet 98 be available for Infinity?

An infinity box has been installed for a year now, and according to engineers (working on the cabinet) it is ready but has simply not been handed over by Openreach.

Is this a simple admin oversight?  Can someone get this moving as the existing speeds we get are terrible.

All I can get from BT Sales is it will be ready in a couple of months!  Given they have been saying this for the last year, it is getting tedious receiving the continual lies.

Can anyone find out why this is so badly delayed?

Dave

this is a customer help customer forum and there is no link from here to openreach who will have the information you are looking for

write to openreach  https://www.formwize.com/run/survey3.cfm?id=7214&embed

if you get auto reply then send again until you get reply from a person

as an aside there is a fibre cab in my area for over 2 years and still not active

It's a BDUK cabinet. Try your local council and/or BDUK scheme. You're more likely to get an answer from them than you are Openreach.

The Bucks & Herts (ConnectedCounties) BDUK/SEP scheme can be contacted via info@connectedcounties.org

They will needs your landline number and full address to check.

I see from the Openreach Where and When checker that it's at the connected stage.

Those dates are just placeholders. The OP knows it should have gone live a while ago, it's been in situ for over a year 😉

I know, but that website is very good for finding out pretty much anything about exchanges. 🙂

It's not that useful at the moment. The last time it was updated with Openreach data was May 5th, so it's almost 2 months out of date.
