When will FTTP be available in my area ?

Go to solution

The poles in the area have the yellow tags showing "Fibre Overhead" but the openreach fibre checker has been showing " We're planning to build in this area" for a few months now.

Only openreach know the answer to when fibre will be available to you and there is no link from this forum to openreach

if you enter your phone number or address into checker and see if FTTP available to you  if not you just need to keep checking until you see available then place your order

Given:

  • Fibre spine installed

  • Splice closures installed

  • Overhead fibre signs have been installed

  • CBTs are already on the lane

  • My serving pole is fibre‑enabled

When would the database be typically updated after completion ? (it has been about 3 months so far since it was set to Building in your area.)

Why are you asking on a BT forum, nothing to do with BT. Are you asking the same question on other ISP forums?
