do you also use a modem connected to phone socket and then router hh4 connected to modem?
with the 20mb up profile shown on btspeedtester results you are on infinity 2 or a recently free upgraded infinity 1

You are on fibre to cabinet not adsl (copper broadband )
Guess I have posted in the wrong Forum. . . sorry for this, I will repost in the correct forum.
I will move this thread to correct board
As you are using a hh4 with a modem then all the relevant stats are in the modem and unless unlocked are not accessible
From the master socket, there is a cable which goes into the DSL port on a BT OpenReach box mounted next to the master socket. From the BT OpenReach box a LAN cable goes to the HH4 Type A. . . no other ports are in use (except of course for a power cable).
I doubt it. You current connection speed up and down are within your estimated speed when you look at the dslchecker results
instead of connecting to master socket have you tried connecting to the test socket (which is behind the master faceplate) with a filter and see if that helps your connection speed
Thanks imjolly, I am pretty disappointed as it was once consistently over 2mb with 20mb download which was acceptable. Since a fault appeared over next doors pole a few months ago and we lost service completely. An engineer came out and managed to get the service restored, but it was different... definitely a poorer service... maybe once a day it hangs drops out... and we have to wait for it to reestablish.
For £75 a month... it isn’t what I would consider an acceptable service. Just pay your money and be quiet
TYour connection should not drop on daily basis. The drops have more than likely affected your connection speed but without the router stats you cannot really tell
i would certainly try connecting to test socket with a filter and see if it makes line more stable and even improve your connection speed
is there any noise on quiet line test. Dial 17070 option 2 should be quiet apart from the announcement and best with corded phone
i would also phone options team 0800800030 and see about downgrading to infinity 1 which will not affect your speed up or down but should reduce your monthly cost
