I live in a group of 11 new build houses between houses which have had fibre for months if not years, and newer builds which have fibre to the premises. We have a fibre-enabled cabinet on the street behind us, but on the Openreach site BT is still 'scoping possibilities' - ie doing nothing at all. I have been complaining about the awful service (appallingly slow downloads, buffering on YouTube and similar, internet dropping out altogether on a regular basis) since I moved in on 30 June, and I can't understand why they don't get someone down here to sort the situation out. All my neighbours have complained individually, but with no more luck than I have had. It can't be difficult!

Got the table which says that broadband is available, which it is, but at less than 1 Mb. I don't understand the rest of the technical jargon, which is why I posted on this forum - I want someone to tell me in non-technical language why I can't be connected to fibre, as the cabinet I am supplied for is fibre-enabled.
This is a community forum where customers help customers and only BT presence here are the forum mods. there is no link to openreach from the forum and openreach are the only people who are able to answer the question of when your cabinet will be upgraded or if already upgraded but no availability then again only openreach know when that will change
posting the table with information will help forum members help you
