Why won't the My BT app allow me to post a complaint

I will have to post it here in the vain hope that someone from BT bothers to read it .... Seriously unimpressed.

 

I contacted BT about slow speed and line drops a week ago. I was told there was no problem on the line and an engineer would come to check my "Non BT equipment" I was also told that the customer "agent" would raise a complaint on my behalf. A week later a very nice engineer arrived, confirmed that the only equipment attached to my line was a BT hub and showed evidence of line drops and speeds below my guaranteed speed (I have alsoevidenced this seperately using ookla). He said hew would arrange for the issue to be passed to open reach as a priority. Having just checked my MY BT it says there are no current faults or complaints. Also, when the account was upgraded to Halo 3 a few months back the installing engineer said he would arrange for some booster discs to be sent to enable wifi throughout my property ... guess what? They never arrived either. Frankly, I am appalled by your poor service in relation to my fault and hope that as I, and your engineer have provided proof of line drops and slow speed (since at leat the 2nd February) you will arrange to compensate me, but more importantly, that you will work to urgently restore an acceptable service to me.... the above is the complaint that "My BT" will not let me send. What a wonderful system you have

as it said when you joined this is a community forum where customers help customers and your post does not go to BT

do you have home phone not digital voice?  if so dial 17070 option 2 should be silent and any noise needs reporting as phone fault not broadband to 151

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with your speeds, and that your service is dropping. We do not have account access here, as @imjolly has said, but it would be worth getting back in touch with the team to see what is happening with your complaint.

Thanks for your reply. I was aware of the purpose of the forum but had run out of ideas as the app wouldn't let me complain and the phone just says "we have fixed your fault so there is no need to talk to an advisor" then hangs me up. Have a great day

Is the response you get as soon as you call @tireddave, or are you asking to discuss a fault that has already been reported when this happens?
