Worlds Worst Company - why no activation?

Why was I not activated on my activation day?

Why is it still not activated 10 days later?

Why do I speak to different people every time I call them?

Why do they just tell me,. we need 48 (MORE!!!) hours to set a review! AKA schedule a call back to tell you the same useless news!!!

Why can BT not get Open Reach to do the work?

Why did BT take an order ,. Do nothing for 14 days and then still not get us activated?

Why can I not get the internet when the line into my house  was working fine for my previous supplier?

Why did I ever come across the Worlds Worst Company!?

Re: Worlds Worst Company - why no activation?

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.

Hi @Crowtherd75,

Welcome to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post.

I'm sorry to hear about the delay in getting your service connected.

Have you been contacted by a case management team or been told why the order has been delayed?

Matt

Re: Worlds Worst Company - why no activation?

Yes 3 different case managers.

3 lots of - wait 48 hours and we will do a review/give you the same news that they have no idea what’s happening and why they can’t connect us!

i have never known a Company that had so little idea!

It’s simply unbelievable!

Re: Worlds Worst Company - why no activation?

Are you trying to get FTTC or FTTP?

do you have a working phone?

Re: Worlds Worst Company - why no activation?

Sorry I don’t know the difference , I ordered super fast fibre  broadband.

We had working telephone and broadband from plusnet the day b4 BT were meant to activate us.

no idea why they can’t get us working.

We use small teams of case handlers so that customers don't miss out of updates if a case handler was out of the office on the day we received the update from our suppliers. This also means that we can cover all of our opening hours including weekends.

I've sent you a Private Message with details on how you can get in contact with the mod team. We will be able to take over this case and case handle until resolution however we are really busy at the moment so this case won't be picked up until next week. We pick all cases up in the order they are received in.

Thanks

Matt

Re: Worlds Worst Company - why no activation?

From what you have ordered it is FTTC - fibre to the cabinet and standard copper from cab to your home

Can you enter your address to check if your cabinet is full with waiting list.

Re: Worlds Worst Company - why no activation?

Another stock answer, from the BT script!

BT should try some honesty and stop treating customers like idiots.

we simply want the truth and not to be fobbed off,. Day after day!

its literally  painful dealing with BT support staff.

Re: Worlds Worst Company - why no activation?

Thanks for the reply.

I’ve entered our details but the web page / table is completely confusing. No idea what cabinet is full with waiting list means? And can’t tell this from the table. Surely BT should be telling me this,. Or have some idea of how long activation will take.
