The real reason is in the above link,so until vandalism and thefts stop,we are all going to get even worse connections.

BTO will get it fixed, but then I quess the copper will then be stolen or damaged again.

That's not the reason, or it would be bad all day surely.  The problem manifests from around 7pm to mignight, only affects connections via above.net.  Everything else is fine.

For example, Facebook - Fine; Twitter - Not Fine.

So, can't be a cable issue, can't be on the 'customer' side of the network.  It's clearly a fault between BT and Above.net that BT need to talk to Above.net about and fix.

Obviously not you individually Spenty, come on now. Your just an aspiring expert

You obviously didn't read what I said earlier. Forum titles under your name don't mean anything but post count.

Re: You were disconnected from EA Online

Anytime EA goes down guys try twitter and it likely will not work. Why does facebook and youtube never go down? Why do often get problems with game servers in Frankfurt, why the backbone so **bleep**ed up throughout the day. Can't believe that Sky uses a better backbone than BT.

Re: You were disconnected from EA Online

As with previous days, it's starting to improve, and by mightnight it'll be usable again.  That doesn't mean it's fixed because if previous days are anything to go by we'll all be here at 7pm again tomorrow night.

Re: You were disconnected from EA Online

One thing I do agree on though is it definitely isn't cable theft. Through the day everything works fine, it's on an evening when it all goes to pot, which I suspect is some kind of congestion with above.net.
